TikTok advertising and analytics

We use TikTok's advertising and analytics services to understand how you interact with our website, improve our marketing, and show you relevant ads on TikTok. Specifically, we share data with TikTok through:

  • TikTok Pixel: a small piece of code on our website that records actions you take, such as pages viewed, products added to cart, and purchases completed.
  • TikTok Events API: a server-to-server connection that sends event data directly from Shopify to TikTok, which improves accuracy and works even when browser tracking is blocked.
  • Advanced Matching: when you provide information at checkout (such as your email address, phone number, or name), this information is hashed (converted into an irreversible code) before being shared with TikTok. TikTok uses the hashed data to match your activity to a TikTok account if one exists, so we can measure ad performance and reach similar audiences.

What is shared: your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, products viewed or purchased, order value, and hashed contact details (email, phone, name) you submit at checkout.

Why we share it: to measure the performance of our advertising, optimise our campaigns, build audiences of customers similar to ours, and personalise the ads you see on TikTok.

Your choices: you can manage how your data is used for TikTok advertising in your TikTok account settings under Privacy and Ads. You can also disable cookies in your browser, or opt out of personalised advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance of Australia (youronlinechoices.com.au). For more information about how TikTok uses your data, see TikTok's Privacy Policy.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising and analytics

We use Meta's advertising and analytics services to measure how you interact with our website, optimise our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and reach similar audiences. Specifically, we share data with Meta through:

  • Meta Pixel: a small piece of code on our website that records actions you take, such as pages viewed, products added to cart, and purchases completed.
  • Conversions API (CAPI): a server-to-server connection that sends event data directly from Shopify to Meta, which improves accuracy and works even when browser tracking is blocked.
  • Advanced Matching: when you provide information at checkout (such as your email address, phone number, or name), this information is hashed (converted into an irreversible code) before being shared with Meta. Meta uses the hashed data to match your activity to a Facebook or Instagram account if one exists, so we can measure ad performance and reach similar audiences.

What is shared: your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, products viewed or purchased, order value, and hashed contact details (email, phone, name) you submit at checkout.

Why we share it: to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, optimise our campaigns, build lookalike audiences, and personalise the ads you see across Meta's platforms.

Your choices: you can manage how your data is used for Meta advertising in your Facebook or Instagram account settings under Ads. You can also opt out of personalised advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance of Australia (youronlinechoices.com.au). For more information about how Meta uses your data, see Meta's Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google's analytics and advertising services to understand how visitors use our website, measure ad performance, and improve our marketing. Specifically, we share data with Google through:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): measures website traffic and user behaviour, such as which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and which products are viewed or purchased.
  • Google Ads tag and conversion tracking: records when visitors who clicked one of our Google ads complete an action on our site, such as making a purchase.
  • Enhanced Conversions: when you provide information at checkout (such as your email address), this information is hashed before being shared with Google to improve the accuracy of our conversion measurement.

What is shared: your IP address (truncated where supported), device and browser details, pages viewed, products viewed or purchased, order value, referring source, and hashed contact details (email) submitted at checkout.

Why we share it: to measure website performance, attribute purchases to advertising campaigns, optimise our Google Ads spend, and improve the customer experience on our site.

Your choices: you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage how your data is used for Google advertising in your Google account at myadcenter.google.com. For more information about how Google uses your data, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (including Shopify, payment processors, and analytics tools) are based overseas, including in the United States, Canada, and the European Union. By using our website, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in these countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your data securely and in line with this policy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, and analyse how our site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of our site may not work correctly without them.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. This includes secure hosting through Shopify, encrypted payment processing, and limiting internal access to your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information for as long as it is needed to provide you with our products and services, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When your information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or de-identify it.
