Refund policy

We want you to love your Striide Club bag. If something isn't right, here's how we handle returns, refunds, and faulty goods. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by anything in this policy.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.

This policy operates alongside those rights, not instead of them.

Change of mind returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of the delivery date, provided the item is:

  • Unused and unworn
  • In its original condition with all tags attached
  • In its original packaging
  • Free from perfume, deodorant, makeup, or any marks

To start a return, email play@striideclub.com.au with your order number and the reason for return. We'll send you return instructions.

Return postage is at your cost for change-of-mind returns. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank (usually 3 to 10 business days).

Faulty or damaged items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at play@striideclub.com.au with your order number and photos of the issue.

If the fault is confirmed, we will at our discretion:

  • Replace the item (if stock is available)
  • Refund you in full, including original shipping costs
  • Cover the cost of return postage

This applies in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Items that cannot be returned

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Items marked as final sale
  • Items that show signs of use, wear, or damage caused by the customer
  • Items without original tags or packaging
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different colour or product, please return the original item for a refund (subject to the conditions above) and place a new order.

Sale and promotional items

Items purchased on sale or with a promotional code are still eligible for return under this policy, unless marked final sale. Refunds will be processed at the amount actually paid, not the full retail price.

Lost or undelivered parcels

If your parcel is marked as delivered but you cannot find it, please:

  1. Check with neighbours, your building manager, or any safe-drop locations
  2. Contact Australia Post using your tracking number
  3. If still unresolved, email us at play@striideclub.com.au within 7 days of the marked delivery date

We'll do our best to help, but responsibility for parcels that are confirmed delivered to the correct address sits with the carrier and, in some cases, the customer.

How to start a return

Email us at play@striideclub.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you'd like to return
  • The reason for return

We'll reply within 2 business days with return instructions and the return address.
